There are a number of different ways that you can make a difference. Whether you're looking to volunteer with us, make a donation or even just keep an eye on our upcoming events, we really appreciate any and all support that you are willing to give.
We regularly organise community activities where locals and our refugees get together to make a difference to the area.
Make sure to sign up to be alerted to future community events!
Some of our previous community activities include...

In partnership with Asylum Link Merseyside, we have made several trips to the countryside to plant trees coordinated by Treesponsibility. The weather hasn't been kind to us but we have managed to help plant over 600 trees so far. A sterling effort by volunteers and our clients.

We have worked alongside ALM and the Marine Conservation Society to clean Hoylake Beach. This involved not just collecting rubbish but recording what we found.

We supported a local charity Gautby Road Play, Youth and Community Centre in their Christmas toy appeal. The toys were collected by RK Fitness in Hoylake and we wrapped over 300 toys.

We are proud to be working with Friends of Birkenhead Park to take part in regular litterpicks. These sessions offer our members the chance to contribute something positive to the local community while enjoying time outdoors together. They help build confidence, strengthen friendships, and create a sense of belonging.
As one participant shared, “It feels good to give something back to the place that has welcomed us.”
Together, we are helping to keep this much-loved park clean and welcoming for everyone.
